Dmitry Markeev, Associate Director of the MM Real Estate Credit Fund, Aura Group
Dmitry Markeev joined Aura Group in 2023 as an Associate Director at Real Estate Credit, where he plays a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and risk management.
He is responsible for preparing detailed performance analysis packs and management accounts, ensuring timely reporting to senior leadership, including the Board and Audit & Compliance Committees. Dmitry leads budgeting and forecasting processes, conducts cost management reviews, and supports strategic decision-making through financial modelling and variance analysis.
His work includes reviewing property valuation reports, identifying investment risks, and advising the Investment and Credit Committees on mitigation strategies. Dmitry also oversees the risk management framework for property credit funds, contributes to system and process improvements, and ensures compliance with financial standards through audit support and internal control development.
Prior to joining Aura Group, Dmitry accumulated over nine years of international investment banking experience, having structured and executed more than 200 credit facilities across various sectors with leading EU financial institutions. His expertise spans working capital financing, investment projects, derivatives, M&A, commodity trading, and structured financial instruments.
