Poh Lean Soon, Country Partner of Private Equity, Malaysia
Poh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of QuinRiver Capital, established in 2021. He also serves as Malaysia Country Partner for the private equity business of Aura Group.
Poh was a Partner at AHAM Capital Asset Management’s private equity business from 2018 to 2021, and before that, he served as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at RHB Investment Bank. Earlier in his career, he was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Sadella Advisory, a Hong Kong-based boutique M&A and corporate advisory firm, and a member of the investment team at a Hong Kong hedge fund managing Asia ex-Japan equities. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kuala Lumpur and London.
Poh currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee of Public Packages Holdings Berhad.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Sydney, Australia, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and a Fellow of CPA Australia.
