Poh Lean Soon is the Country Partner of Private Equity, Malaysia
Poh was formerly the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at RHB Investment Bank, holding the position until 2018, before joining AHAM Capital Asset Management as a Partner in its private equity business.
In 2010, prior to RHB, Poh joined Sadella Advisory, a boutique M&A and corporate advisory firm in Hong Kong and held his final position as Partner and Chief Operating Officer. In 2007, Poh worked for a Hong Kong-based hedge fund managing Asia ex-Japan equities as a member of the investment team. Poh started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers, in both the Kuala Lumpur and London offices. Poh is also an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee of Public Packages Holdings Berhad.
Poh holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a fellow of CPA Australia.
